Brian serves as the Digital Media Technologist at the Columbia Center for New Media Teaching and Learning. He is the project manager of Columbia University's media platform services, including YouTube and iTunes U, coordinating the post-production of podcasting implementations on campus, and as a part of the CCNMTL video production group, his responsibilities include researching and developing Web-based video technologies and determining production processes that optimize the distribution of educational media.

Brian has worked in the field of video production within Education Technology for eight years.. He has hosted and contributed to presentations and workshops on video editing, Web video formats, podcasting, blogging, and mobile media. He has also served as the quality assurance developer for CCNMTL projects and works with programmers and webmasters to implement audio and video modules.
