Sussex University Sounds Direct

The Sounds Direct project at the University of Sussex is a project looking at how to give faculty a quick and simple way to provide podcasts of their lectures and other audio/video material to students. Currently in a pilot phase, we hope to be able to expand the system to more lecture theatres as soon as possible.

Sounds Direct is fully integrated with the University's Virtual Learning Environment Study Direct and is designed to be easy to use - even for non-technical users. To include a podcast feed of your lectures you need to know nothing about recording audio or streaming media.
