Steeple Portal

Steeple portal is an open source audio/video (podcast) delivery portal for higher education institutions.

It is a component of the overall JISC-funded Steeple project, called Work Package 3.1, which is being delivered by the University of Cambridge. The portal will take feeds from a streaming media server which feeds iTunesU and display the content nicely, according to category. iTunesU was selected as a common standard in the Steeple community; most universities involved with Steeple already have an iTunesU system set up.

Getting Started with Steeple Portal

This page includes links to resources which will help developers and administrators get started with using or working on the Steeple Portal. This is targetted at programmers and system administrators and those interested in downloading and trying the software (beware it is still a work in progress).
