A legal document giving official permission to do something with the resource

License needs to be machine readable as well. There may need to be multiple licenses attached, so 0-1 needs to be 0-n.

Recommended best practice is to identify the license using a URI. Examples of such licenses can be found at http://creativecommons.org/about/license/ (s.a. http://creativecommons.org/international/ch/)
