[edit] 1 Overview
iTunesU is a specialized area of the iTunes store which allows the user to download and subscribe to audio and video content sent out by students, lecturers and Professors. In order to use iTunesU to it's full potential users must have iTunes installed on their computer, iPhone or iPod Touch. iTunesU has the advantage of allowing users to watch videos on their computer or to synchronize them with an iPod (1) or mobile device.
(1) Though the iPhone and iPod touch can access the content directly if iTunes is installed on the device.
