Podcasting processes cut across many departmental and administrative boundaries within an institution, and our work has shown that success can only be found through internal collaboration between the technologists, the academics and the administrators, and has the best chance of succeeding when championed by senior executives. This advice is key any large scale new activity such as an iTunes U launch, which is an example of a large driving force for change. Remember academic engagement is key!
